Kelly Olson joined Rainbow in 2018 as the Director. She has been working with children for over 16 years, and has worked with all age groups throughout the years. She loves the tight knit community between families and staff at Rainbow. Kelly enjoys working with the staff members to create an environment and curriculum that meets the needs of all the children. Kelly believes that kids keep us young at heart and nothing can replace the feeling of watching the sparkle in a child’s eye when they learn something new. In her free time Kelly enjoys spending time with her two children, significant other, playing sports, and watching her children play sports.
Aubrey Boldt joined the Rainbow team in 2018. She can be found mainly in the infant room but also helps out in all of the other rooms when needed. Aubrey has a four-year degree in Early Childhood Education from Rasmussen College and has been working with children for five plus years. She loves incorporating her knowledge into creating unique and energetic lesson plans which allows our infants and mobiles to stay busy.
Miranda Josephs has been part of the Rainbow staff since 2018. Miranda started as an aide but gained her CDA and is now the lead infant teacher. She loves working at Rainbow because it feels like a family and she enjoys everyone she works with. Miranda is an animal lover and is also a wife and mom to a handsome little boy.
Leona Menyongar has worked in the infant room since 2000. She loves working at Rainbow because of the relationships she has formed with parents and because it is a community-based program that cares about every child’s development throughout their whole time at the school. Leona has worked with children for over 30 years and has an associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Rasmussen College. In her free time Leona loves traveling with her family and has two children who keep her busy.
Linzy Sharp began working with the infants and toddlers in 2015. She loves taking care of the little ones and watching them grow as they get older and move from room to room. Linzy is a wife and mom to three very busy girls and enjoys going to the beach and on walks.
Tyler Gadbois has been working at Rainbow since 2018. Tyler started at Rainbow as an aide and enjoyed working at Rainbow so much he decided to further his education to gain his CDA and become a teacher. He is a great addition to any classroom and shares his guitar and accordion talents with the children. In his free time Tyler likes to play music and go on adventures with his nephews.
Josi Hurley had been working with the toddlers since 2018. She has been working with children for over 30 years and has her BS in Early Childhood Education. Her authoritative teaching style allows for the toddlers to learn many life skills and become independent little individuals. When teaching, her students are always on the move and engaged in learning activities. In her free time Josi likes to spend time with her family and sew.
Caroline Kruger has been part of Rainbow School since 2010. She believes that children are our future and it is her passion to help them grow and appropriately develop. Caroline was born in Kenya, studied in London, has an associate degree in Early Childhood Education and is furthering her education to achieve a degree in Child Psychology. Caroline loves to travel, spend time with family and help those in need.
Cathy LeDuc has worked at Rainbow since 2017. She loves working beside the toddler teachers and doing different activities throughout the afternoon. She wants to become a paraprofessional as she has a passion for helping children with disability. When she is not working Cathy loves to watch movies and hang out with her husband and family.
Nicole Ness started working in the toddler room in 2017. She spends her day assisting the lead toddler teacher with daily routines and lessons. She has a knack for working with the little ones and the children are very fond of her loving personality. In her free time Nicole likes to spend time with her husband.
Denise Young started working at Rainbow in 2018. Her love for children has led her to continue her education and get her CDA to become teacher qualified. Denise loves seeing the children and her nurturing character makes her a perfect fit in any classroom. In her free time Denise loves reading and going camping with her husband and two boys.
Patricia Fabian (a.k.a Ms. Patty) has been a teacher at Rainbow School for over 20 years. She believes that watching families and children grow throughout the years, knowing they are trusting the Rainbow staff with their most valuable treasure(s) is an honor and true pleasure. Patty has been working with children for over 20 years and has a Bachelor of Science degree from Winona State University. When she is not at work, Patty can be found watching her daughter play softball, gardening, fishing, or going for walks with their family dog.
Courtney Fisher has been part of Rainbow School since 2018. She is enjoys spending her day with the four- and five-year old’s in Pre-K. Courtney has worked with children for 10 plus years and has a B.S. degree in Child Development and Family Studies with a minor in Gender and Woman’s Studies from Mankato State. She loves watching children grow in such a short period of time and is amazed by their eagerness to learn. When shes not working Courtney enjoys going to concerts supporting her boyfriend who is a drummer, as well as spending time with family and friends outside.
Karen Johnson has been a part of our Preschool team since 2006. She has worked with children for 30 plus years and received her CDA from Rasmussen College. Karen loves working with her preschoolers because every day is a new adventure and no day looks the same. In her free time Karen likes reading, watching/playing sports, and shopping.
Haley Nystrom started working at Rainbow school in 2014. She can be found in every preschool classroom throughout the day. Haley enjoys working at Rainbow because of the connections she has created with families and staff. Her love for children can be explained by the following quote, “while we teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about.” In her free time Haley enjoys painting, playing video games, being in nature, going to Applebee’s, and spending time with her bearded dragon Garol.
Brittany has been at Rainbow since 2017. She is currently attending Anoka Ramsey Community College for her generals and will transfer to Grand Canyon University in the fall for her early education degree. She enjoys going to concerts, reading, traveling and being with friends and family. She chose to work with children because they are her passion and it is so rewarding to be able to see them grow and learn.
